I'm now finished with the 5 mandatory comics I was to make for Skull Kids Productions as their Artist of the Month. That said, here's the first of the five:

Putting It Together
Over the next few days, I'm going to be building up a sample episode of ReqDraw so I have a way of showing very clearly what the concept is. I'll be putting up the video up here, on RocketHub, on Vimeo and maybe on blip.tv as well when it's done.
I have the drawing for it as well as the recorded footage for it. At this point, it's just the editing and some audio I need to put together.
Since this, along with other priorities, will keep me occupied, I might not be able to update with new art until next week.
Ciao.

I'm Batman
With some hype over The Dark Knight Rises coming up thanks to the recent trailer, I kinda naturally decided Batman would make sense to draw today. I recorded the process and plan to make a 'sample episode' of ReqDraw with it. Unfortunately, CamStudio glitched out like crazy when I tried to record the clean-up process and even forced me to restart my laptop once. This is why I desperately need better software.

ReqDraw
I've started up a donation page on RocketHub (a website similar to Kickstarter, but it supports Canadians like myself) in order to help me create a webseries I've entitled 'ReqDraw'. The basic idea is that I would make weekly episodes of recording of my drawing process as I fulfill viewer requests along with comical and insightful commentary. Additional Ponies
I recently discovered a wonderful free program known as Inkscape. I almost immediately fell in love with it when I discovered the line-weighting presets and have been trying hard to think of things to draw just so I could use it. I found that it lends itself well to drawing the Friendship is Magic characters.

Endeavours
Indeed. I even have a worked out pricing system but so many little variables come into question with each different commission. It's a really tough call finding a value that's good for the amount of time you put into something without coming off as greedy to the client.

Yes, I Am a Brony
Don't let the title fool you, this picture was not my idea, I'm doing it as a request. That said though, I have been assimilated into the brony herd.
Powerpuff Girls, Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, and now My Little Pony. Lauren Faust is officially too good at being able to make anything entertaining for anybody.

Forward Down Down-Forward Punch
Well, my Cintiq is finally back within my grasp and I decided today that I would finally...finalize my Ken drawing from before. So here it is, in beautiful vectors and colours.

To The Winner: A Brand New Tophat!
This was done by request a while back. Not the strangest thing I've been asked to draw but probably the strangest thing I've actually drawn.
On another, ever-so-slightly related note: My darling little Cintiq has found its way back home. Thursday evening, I'll be heading back to Chatham to reunite with the once-again functional video tablet. Following the reunion celebration, I have some plans.

Cintiq'd
So, I checked the tracking number on my Cintiq and found that it is currently on its way back to me. Huzzah!
Skull Kids Productions Artist of the Month
I'm happy to announce that as of Friday, I'm the current featured artist on SkullKidsProductions.com.
You can check them out here: http://skullkidsproductions.com/
This also means I'll be making a small handful of comics for them; my first is already up and is the second newest comic as of this post.
